We are very pleased with our bedroom refit carried out by Hale & Murray and keep saying how lovely it is. We chose them because of the quality of the products in the showroom; the clean, tidy and modern workshop on site; as a long standing family firm they could provide the “personal touch” and they had a short lead time. Norman and Julie made an initial visit to measure up and then produced detailed plans which they talked through with us at the showroom a few days later also giving us a quotation we considered fair. Julie was very helpful and supportive throughout with a meticulous eye and memory for detail. She always replied to emails immediately with a detailed response, patiently incorporated the changes we requested and was unflustered when we changed our minds. She made suggestions to enable us to achieve the result we wanted and which suited the house. Julie subsequently made a second visit with the electrician and Nigel (who made the cabinets) to finalise the plans. The fitting was completed in 2 days. The fitters arrived on time, were friendly, cheerful, respectful and hardworking and left everything clean and tidy. When we wanted a small change after the fitting was completed they did it straight away with no fuss. When we subsequently wanted to discuss a couple of points they came out the next day and speedily resolved to our complete satisfaction. The customer care provided throughout was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend Hale & Murray.

What can I say…….stumbled across this company purely by accident and I am so glad I did. From the very initial phone call, to the swift visit made by Julie and Norman to my home, I knew instantly that I was not going to look elsewhere! Both Julie and Norman afforded me a great deal of time and patience in trying to configurate my cloakroom, which was a bit of a challenge, but succeeded where other companies had failed. Their attention to detail and professionalism was paramount. I also had a deadline of before Christmas to complete, which was very short notice – but Hale & Murray pulled out all the stops to adhere to this! I am so pleased with my cloakroom and ensuite that I have asked them to quote for other work which is needed in the home. The fitter was also polite, tidy and hardworking. I have no hesitation in recommending Hale & Murray to anyone.

Main bedroom fitted out with made to measure furniture. The service was very professional from the initial survey through to finish. The furniture is very high quality and at least as important, the fitting was done to an extremely high standard, with very close attention to detail. Matching shelves and a mirror were also made to go with the units. Hale & Murray employ their own excellent fitters. It doesn’t matter how good the product is, if the fitting is poor. The quality of the fitting is every bit as good as the product.

Hale & Murray completed a 3 stage project with us at a GP surgery. From the beginning Julie and Norman were brilliant with helping us bring our vision to paper. They provided a clear timeline and were understanding of the need for business to continue as usual. This resulted in the team being flexible to ensure the disruptive work was done before the surgery opened to ensure no impact on the daily running of services. The team were neat, tidy and polite. Disruption was kept to a minimum with a lot of the units being pre-built. We cannot thank Hale & Murray enough for their hard work. We are so pleased with all 3 of the projects and would not hesitate to recommend them in the future. Thank you again

We had a problem with the doors of our bedroom furniture supplied by a well known National Company. The veneer finish became detached and when the Company was approached did not want to rectify the problem. So it left us with no alternative but to find an option to resolve this problem. Fortunately I contacted Hale and Murray who were absolutely fantastic. Norman Murray and Julie visited us and advised us that there was a World wide problem with the adhesive. They suggested that the only alternative was to replace the doors which was achieved in very quick time and arranged for fitting. The overall effect is superb and we would thoroughly recommend this wonderful friendly family Company to anybody.
